We had the absolute pleasure of working with our friend Susie of First Impression on the design and printing of her daughter’s wedding stationery. Lovely design, velvet accents, and a charming floral motif carry throughout the various pieces. There were so many fun elements to Hannah and David’s wedding weekend, and we are proud to have been a part of it.

The muted blue color palette ties all the pieces together, ranging from deep blue and powder blue letterpress inks to French blue velvet for the invite backer and envelope liner, and our Sky and Storm papers for the details card, place card, and welcome card, respectively. The soft blue hues are serene, romantic, and timeless.
The invitation design is formal and a perfect fit for the glamorous venue, The Century Club in Kansas City, Missouri. The generous layout is intentional and airy, setting the tone for the opulent but comfortable event. The use of a modern serif font for the names adds contemporary elegance, while a fun script font interjects some whimsy and personality, especially when mentioning the dress code.
The invitation is a staggering multi-ply card that features our cotton 1-ply white adhered to sky 1-ply, another layer of cotton 1-ply white, and finally, French blue velvet. The invitation also features a 45-degree bevel, and the alternating layers ensure a pop of blue is visible on the gently sloped edges.

A mounting card secures a velvet belly band to the back of the invitation, providing a spot to hold the auxiliary cards. This ensures a neat presentation when guests remove the cards from the envelope. Blind debossing on the velvet belly band is decadent and further emphasizes the stock’s texture.
The whimsical floral pattern can be found throughout the suite, and the flower shape also appears on the escort cards.
Letterpress-printed stripes give the Shabbat Card a casual tone and distinguish it from the other cards. An elegant monogram on the front panel of the accordion fold details card further defines the refined aesthetic.

Every part of this stationery suite, from the save the date to the invitation and day of pieces, is exquisite and luxurious, and also pleasantly charming and true to both the bride and groom and the special relationship they share. Thank you to Susie from First Impression for including us in such a special moment for your family and for working with us on this amazing wedding stationery.
This entire stationery suite is stately yet exudes effortless elegance. The mix of textures, soft botanicals, an elaborate monogram, and a fun post-toast card makes for a memorable look. This suite celebrates a series of pre- and post-wedding events honoring Christian and Jack throughout their special weekend. This highly curated collection of cards was brought to us by our friend Jessica of Rock Paper Scissors in Franklin, Tennessee.

Each card in this suite has a different shape, from the Winston die-cut rehearsal dinner invitation to the oval events card, the rounded-corner post-toast card, and finally the square-corner brunch card. This variety adds visual interest, but the soft green color palette of the spruce letterpress ink, asparagus velvet belly bands, and the spruce paper for the brunch card creates a cohesive feel.
A flourishing script monogram with elaborate scrolling detail and leaf-like tendrils adorns the rehearsal dinner invitation and both belly bands. The monogram adds drama, romance, and a bit of vintage charm. For the rehearsal dinner invitation, the monogram is letterpress printed in our spruce ink, so it is pressed into our luxurious Bella cotton 2-ply paper. A blind emboss wreath encircles the monogram. Embossing creates raised detail and provides a striking contrast to the letterpress monogram. The same floral detail appears as accents on the brunch card, and the full pattern is visible on the envelope liner.
For the belly bands, the monogram again appears in our spruce letterpress ink, but this time on our asparagus velvet, creating a subtle yet impactful tonal look.

Elevated beach charm makes this invitation, featuring a blind emboss on handmade paper along with dreamy velvet accents, a beautiful wedding suite. The bride and groom, Madelene and David, selected our Toussaint design and worked with our dear friend Jessica at Rock Paper Scissors in Tennessee. Some subtle yet impactful design choices made this invitation the perfect fit for a wedding on the sandy shores of St. George Island, Florida.
Embossing is a technique that bumps the artwork out from the paper, creating a raised texture. This design features the couple’s names in Vintage Heirloom, a dramatic script font, printed in blind emboss, which further highlights the elegant curves of the font. The natural texture and deckle edge of the handmade paper give these invitations an organic feel, while still maintaining an air of elegance. A velvet belly band in camel coordinates with the letterpress ink on the invitation and reply card.
Velvet also appears on the inner envelope liner. The liner is foil-stamped with our opaline shine foil in the Thalassa pattern on Bella velvet in camel. The combination of opaline shine foil on camel velvet mimics the look of waves washing across a sandy beach.

Adding a liner to an inner envelope ensures guests can enjoy the design of the liner. Traditionally, the outer envelope is sealed, and the inner envelope is left unsealed. The outer envelope will be cut or torn when opened, leaving the inner envelope liner intact and in perfect condition.

Our Bella smooth cotton paper in 2-ply has a smooth surface and holds a lovely letterpress impression. Holly ink paired with the ivory paper adds warmth to the design. The velvet belly band in wine wraps around the invitation, introducing texture and even more richness to the overall aesthetic.
The bride and groom sent in a custom illustration for the envelope liner, which is so charming and adds a beautiful, personal touch to the overall suite. The illustration depicts a winter scene of the couple and their beloved dog, walking through the snow to the reception venue. The liner is digitally printed in marsala ink on ivory text-weight paper. Our marsala ink beautifully coordinates with the wine velvet used for the belly band, tying everything together.
